What makes a product Vegan?
In order for a beauty item to be considered vegan it needs to come from a cruelty-free company (does not test on animals) and must not contain any animal ingredients and/or animal-derived ingredients.
Therefore it must be free of these ingredients:
- Honey
- Beeswax
- Lanolin
- Carmine
- Gelatin
- Albumen
- Cholesterol
- Collagen
- Guanine
- Keratin
This is not an exhaustive list.
