Lisa Eldridge Elevated Glow Highlighter – ‘A Lit From Within’ Dream
Now I have to admit, I was shocked to find that I hadn’t covered this on my blog yet! I snapped my first one up when they launched and have tried it in two shades now! So Elevated Glow is overdue for its review!
What Is Elevated Glow?
Lisa Eldridge’s Elevated Glow is a liquid highlighter- skincare hybrid. Think of this as your skincare BFF with added glow!
Fear not, this is a grown up glow that simply enhances, no glitter to be seen, texture is not enhanced. Phew.
The highlighter uses reflective pearls to bounce light in sheer adaptive bases to suit all skin tones. Lisa Eldridge is known for her inclusivity therefore expect there to be a highlighter for everybody.
Key Ingredients
- Elevated Glow uses FILMEXEL, a biopolymer, that tightens and gives a lifting effect to the skin
- Tamarind Seed – hydrates
- Oat Kernal Extract – softens and soothes
- Glycerin -Hydrates

I have the shades Crystal Nebula and Pink Moon and truly adore them both!
Crystal Nebula is particularly lovely if I want to enhance a makeup with more bronzed tones and Pink Moon is the perfect pink toned highlight that isn’t that overdone pink that is glaring or clashing, that I’m not looking for personally. It simply enhances.
Texture And Application
The highlighter is a lightweight liquid that applies easily. It is not heavy, nor greasy and a little goes a very long way. Simply tapping the liquid in with fingertips is enough to blend the product easily, or a brush does the job perfectly too.
This is truly an effortless application and one that can be done in seconds!
Lisa has developed her formula using a FILMEXEL complex that helps to gently lift the skin. This gives a slight tightening effect, that actually feels really nice.
I’m really enjoying the formulation of skincare-makeup hybrids and this is an example of where the two marry well. The cheekbone and eye area are certainly areas I feel I can benefit from a little lifting so I appreciate the skincare tech here.

The Glitz
Let’s get down to the main event! Elevated Glow gives an ethereal look to the skin. The blend of shimmer particles reflect the light in the most flattering way. Lisa has carefully curated the shimmer colours to suit the highlighter and truly enhance the wearer’s skin, leaving the most stunning glow.
Applying in a sheer layer gives a subtle, pretty, healthy but stunning glow. This can easily be amped up to glow-y, and amplified once again to HELL-O Glow! Yet, it does this without being too glittery or enhancing texture or fine lines – now that is clever.
Lisa Eldridge Elevated Glow Highlighter can be worn without makeup, on top of makeup, or underneath and on top! It is buildable so the choice is yours!

Final Thoughts
I fell in love with Elevated Glow when it first launched and I’m still very much enamored. In fact, it’s the liquid highlighter I choose over others in my collection.
