Forest And Shore Hallelujah Hair Oil
AD | PR
I’m a gal with naturally curly hair that comes with its own frustrations of frizz and dryness. So when this bottle of hair oil, perfect for ‘dry, damaged hair’ turned up on my doorstep I was quite excited to get straight to testing. I am, after all, the perfect client for such a haircare item. The question remains, would I be left proclaiming ‘hallelujah’ as it tamed my unruly mane? Let’s find out as I put the Forest And Shore Hallelujah Hair Oil to the test.

Hallelujah Hair Oil
Let’s get down to the good stuff! The Forest And Shore Hallelujah Hair Oil is a mix of coconut, sesame, olive, sunflower and arnica oils. These oils are naturally fragranced with rosemary and lavender.
“This formula is the perfect solution for anyone with dry, damaged hair. Natural ingredients are the most effective way to restore damaged hair. The penetrating oils will work deep into the hair shaft repairing broken, brittle hair & smoothing the follicles leaving you with silky, conditioned locks.” -Forest And Shore
Scent And Consistency
The consistency of this hair oil is very lightweight. It is not heavy in the slightest, not like some on the market.

Packaging
Hallelujah Hair Oil’s packaging is sleek and modern. It wouldn’t look out of place in anyone’s bathroom cabinet or indeed on a beauty lovers vanity (read: my own).
It has a frosted, clear glass bottle making it both clean in appearance and environmentally friendly. The label and font are pleasant, easy to read and modern.
The hair oil is dispensed via a pipette. I personally love a pipette, especially where oils are concerned as it makes them less messy during application (and makes me feel a little more like a scientist…).
Hallelujah Hair Oil comes in a card box packaging pleasantly decorated in line drawn wild flowers. There are directions for use both on the box and the bottle. A full ingredient list is printed on the box.

The Forest And Shore Hallelujah Hair Oil is assured and marked organic with the Soil Association stamp.
There is 100mls in the bottle priced at £17.99.

My Hair Type And My Results
My hair is naturally curly, fine but coarse and I have a lot of it. I just have to look at the wind for it to tangle and it has an amazing ability to both hold water after it has been washed (it can still be damp from the morning’s hair wash on an evening if left to air dry!) and attract any moisture in the air. Therefore, frizz is my forever friend, or foe rather. I wear it both naturally curly or blasted dry. My hair is greasy at the roots and dry from the mid-lengths; it is hair that is in need of love and attention. In particular, the kind of attention that comes in the form of easy and non-energy wasting is most sought after due to my ever-increasing health demands.

I’ve been using the Hallelujah hair oil for three weeks now. Taking 3 to 4 drops onto my hands, I apply it onto clean, towel-dried hair, then brush through with my Mason and Pearson brush. The application is easy, the scent is fresh and calming and there is a noticeable difference in the ease of detangling my unruly locks.
My hair feels softer, has a shiny appearance and feels less dry. The oil itself is lightweight so my hair doesn’t feel ‘weighed down’ or greasy in the slightest. That’s important to me as a ‘greasy scalp but dry mid-lengths’ gal.
When I have worn my hair straight, I’ve enjoyed using a tiny bit of the oil just to tame any excess frizz. By ‘straight’ I mean, hair is blasted upside down, there really is little to no styling here, so the taming of the frizz is impressive in my eyes.
Final Thoughts of Forest And Shore
Well hallelujah indeed! Call me impressed. There aren’t many hair care products that I find make a noticeable difference to both the appearance and texture of my unruly hair and I can honestly say that the Hallelujah Hair Oil really has. So much so I wanted to share it all with you!
It’s a hair oil that I’m throughly enjoying using and one that I can feel is helping my hair. I’m looking forward to seeing the results long term!
