Firstly, a little about the brand. Founded on the shores of Bondi Beach (Ahh to be there right now… #TakeMeBack) and developed, manufactured and packaged in Australia, Bondi Boost is a cruelty-free, results-driven haircare brand. They offer a range of hair styling tools, haircare styling products and shampoos and conditioners.

The BondiBoost Airburst Styler is a lightweight hair straightener. It has 5 heat settings so you can select an option that is best for your hair type and it heats up in seconds.
The tool has a unique air burst feature that sends cool air through vents as you run the straightener over your hair. This helps to seal the hair cuticle and makes hair look super sleek and shiny and lasts for longer.
As well as that, the cooling air helps to cool your hair at the same time which I feel definitely reduces the heat that your hair is exposed to, so it is a win for caring for your hair while styling!
However, if this feature isn’t for you, it can easily be turned off with the click of the button that is next to the power button.

My Experience
Ok, before and after time! My hair had been washed the day prior to styling. Before: this is how my hair is when it has been blasted dry with a hairdryer and then finished gently running through with a paddle brush to smooth frizz.
After: styled with Bondi Boost Airbust Styler.
It is worth noting that my hair is naturally curly! My hair does blow dry straight quite easily but it will dry naturally curly and has a lot of frizz if not tamed. Oh and if I don’t use a paddle brush after blasting I look like Worzel Gummidge…
The Airburst Styler is lovely and lightweight, this is ideal for someone like me who has medical conditions that make lifting difficult. I did have a little help with styling but this is just when my physical needs are at the moment. The cable has an easy swivel to it which does make moving the tool a breeze and the cable itself is a decent length.
Bondi Boost Airburst Styler heats up very quickly! It has 5 heat settings, I tried 200 and 180 and both worked well on my hair – I certainly didn’t need the highest heat.
The fan is such a unique feature and I do think it makes a difference! It makes a lot of sense when you consider that we wait for tonged curls to cool before brushing out – why wouldn’t a blast of cool air be great for straightening too? And I love that the hair isn’t red hot from using the tool too.
I used two of the brand’s styling products as well. The Bondi Boost Heat Protectant Spray which I’ve been using for a while now and think is great! Then finished with the hair oil to give a sleek finish and also seal in moisture as my curly hair is always seeking it!

Final Thoughts
The Bondi Boost Airburst Styler is a great addition to the hair kit! Before they arrived my straighteners were a very old pair of GHD’s and while they have been very loyal to me, I am very impressed with Bondi Boost’s offering! They really did make styling my hair a breeze and my hair is super silky and soft after using them. Call me impressed!!
