I’m always on the hunt for my perfect lip balm, one that will tend to my dry lips and soothe any cracks in my smile. Gone are the days where I need aesthetically pleasing balm that doesn’t deliver – although I still fall victim to pretty packaging every now and then – my main aim when reviewing a balm is, does it deliver? With that in mind I’m excited to share my thoughts on the belief Super Knights Lipcerin.
About belif: Korean Skincare Powered by Herbal Science
belif is a Korean skincare brand with products made in Korea itself. Thanks to the popularity of Kbeauty we now see an influx of Kbeauty here in the UK and are lucky for it! The formulas are *chefs kiss.*
Last year I had the pleasure of discovering belif skincare and fell hard for the Aqua bomb Moisturizer, a water based cream that floods the skin with hydration, so was thrilled when the lipcerins landed on my doorstep.
belief Lipcerin is £19.99 RRP and available:
Belif Minted Plumper Lipcerin 15ml
Belif Super Knights Berry Tinted Lipcerin 15ml
What is Belif Super Knights Lipcerin?

Think of the Lipcerin as a delightfully nourishing lip mask. Thick enough that it coats the lips with hydration but not so heavy that lips feel sticky or tacky – it seems to bridge this gap well. Thanks to this texture the lip balm also lasts well giving effective hydration over time.
The lip balm is in a plastic air fit container with lid that bear the Belif logo and product name. Once opened there is a twist function that releases a dose of the lip balm keeping the formula fresh. I particularly like this design for sanitary purposes.
The name ‘Lipcern’ is a play on words joining ‘lip’ with ‘glycerin’. Designed to flood lips with hydration and the following:
- Multi-Vitamin Complex™ vitamins C, E, B3 and B12 – nourishes, brightens and protects
- Serine Penta Turnover Recovery Complex™ – enhances moisture retention, stimulates collagen production, exfoliates, improves elasticity, targets dryness, fine lines, loss of firmness.
- Formulated to strengthen the skin barrier and improve overall skin health, this complex containing Serine, peptides, ceramides and hydrating ingredients improves texture, dryness and loss of firmness
- belif Original Formula™, blend of 6 herbal ingredients including Rosemary and Thyme to soothe and moisturise

Both of the versions I’m reviewing have the same set of hydrating and caring ingredients but they differ in their pigment and scents.
How Belif Lip Balm Feels on Dry Lips
This mint version is infused with peppermint and designed to plump, cool and smooth lips.
It feels instantly cooling and refreshing on application and has a gently tingling sensation. However, this isn’t to be mistaken for an unpleasant lip plumping gloss – there’s some out there that I can’t put near my lips – this is a barely there tingle.
My lips are incredibly dry thanks to my chronic health conditions and I’ve really noticed that my lips have lost volume; so I really enjoy the smoothing appearance the lipbalm gives, helping with the fine lines I’m developing. I’ve taken photographs immediately after application and five minutes later to show how the lip balm hydrates and plumps.
When it comes to hydration they deliver! They make such a comfortable, non sticky lip balm and they last.
Colour Payoff & Finish – Is the Berry Tint Subtle or Bold?
The Berry Tinted Lipcerin has the same formula with the same nourishing benefits as the above just with a sheer pink tint. It has a cranberry-strawberry flavor. The tint is gorgeous bright pink that starts as a light fresh shade and begins to deepen over a few minutes. It really makes your lips look healthy and youthful. Be prepared for it to last though as it does stain.

Belif Lipcerin vs Other Tinted Lip Balms
Now I’m a huge Laneige lover but in terms of hydration and the lasting power both of the lip balm on the lip and the nourishment that your lips feel as an result of the balm – I’m afraid belif lipcerin take the top spot. I am seriously impressed.
Just look at my pictures, they speak volumes!
Final Review – Should You Buy Belif Super Knights Berry Tinted Lipcerin?
The market is flooded with hydrating tinted lip balms and if anything the choice is a little overwhelming. Whether you want to spend twenty quid on a lip balm is a personal choice but to me as a person with unbearably dry lips, this is a lip balm that gives long-lasting hydration, one that I genuinely feel nourishes and protects lips and it’s because of that the belif Lipcerin has become a handbag essential.
belif is available at boots, Superdrug and KBeauty store Skincupid
