The Oh My Gloss Lip Oil is a new addition to the existing Oh My Gloss range.
Rimmel promises soft shiny lips with the finish of a lip gloss but the nourishment of a balm finished with a sheer tint. Essentially, it is a mix of a balm and a gloss.

Is Rimmel Cruelty Free?
Rimmel London is cruelty free and the Oh My Gloss Lip Oil is gluten free and a vegan formula.
Price & Packaging
The Rimmel lip oil is housed in a transparent rectangle plastic tube, which shows the colour of the product. The lid colour matches the lip oil shade.
The tubes are marked with the product information and a sticker states the product shade.

Which Lip Oil is best? Rimmel?
I find the lip oil applies easily with the doe foot. It blends well over the lips and has a pleasant texture. Oh my Gloss Lip Oil is surprisingly non-sticky and very hydrating.
There is an instant visual plumping effect due to the hydrating ingredients and glossy shine, rather than a plumping from any tingling in the formula.
Those who dislike tingling formulas can be reassured that this isn’t one.
In my opinion, this is a welcome addition to the highstreet lip oil lineup and sits well amongst my current favourites by ELF, the Glow Reviver, and NYX, The Fat Oil.
Berry Pink
The shade is very subtle, almost a hint. It’s pretty and understated. I like how it looks by itself and it also looks pretty over lip liner for a more enhanced look.
Vivid Red
The red has more pigment to it making it a more defined choice; however, it is still somewhat sheer. The applicator makes it easy to apply neatly and I enjoy how ‘undone’ this lip looks. You can blend the oil into the lip giving a ‘stain’ appearance or build up the red tone with layers.
How Does The Lip Oil Feel?
The finish of this lip oil is a high shine, sophisticated, nourished look. It is non-sticky and feels quite water-like when you pat your lips together, it’s not a heavy product in the slightest.
Final Thoughts Of The Rimmel Lip Oil
What a fantastic launch from Rimmel. It’s great to see drugstore options for trending beauty products that hit the mark. This is a beautiful lip oil that I can see myself reaching for time and time again.
They’re the perfect way to dress your lips in a subtle veil of colour while achieving a satisfying layer of hydration.
