28 Day Skin develop skincare with a customer’s needs in mind. All of their skincare is manufactured in their in-house lab UPGRAD’D Labs. 28 Day Skin (UPGRAD’D Labs) aims to take the confusion and fuss out of complex skincare routines by offering simple solutions to address skin concerns.
Their products always contain patch testing kits for suitability.
The brand is working towards B-Corp Certification.

I have the Sensitive Skin Exfoliant Mandelic Acid and the Skin Brightening Serum to share with you.
Sensitive Skin Exfoliant Mandelic Acid
Key Ingredients:
- Mandelic acid
- Glycerin
Suitable for: Designed for more sensitive skins and those who wish to use a mild exfoliant.
This product aims to gently boost cell turnover helping to even skin tone, smooth skin, unclog pore and target hyperpigmentation.
Mandelic acid, a PHA is a gentle exfoliating acid as it penetrates slowly, making it the perfect choice for those who enjoy a gentle product; The result is clearer, more radiant skin.

The serum comes in a small tube with a rollerball applicator making it a breeze to apply. The texture is incredibly lightweight and absorbs quickly without leaving any sticky residue.
I find the serum gentle and non-irritating to use and enjoy the glow it leaves on my skin.

Skin Repair Kit Skin Brightening Serum
The 28 Day Skin Skin Brightening Serum is a 5% Niacinamide complex + N – AG + Aloe.
This serum is designed to help brighten skin, fade pigmentation, strengthen the skin’s barrier and increase skin’s firmness.
Niacinamide is a wonder kid of an ingredient and is perfect to help support the skin barrier.
The blend of amino acids, aloe and Niacinamide really help to sooth and strengthen skin whilst helping to brighten and reduce any redness.
A note: This serum has just been renamed ‘Skin Brightener Serum’, from ‘Skin Barrier Repair’ I have the older packaging.

The serum is housed in a bottle with a dropper to dispense. It is a lightweight, clear serum that feels cooling and soothing to apply. It soaks into skin quickly and marries well with moisturisers.

My Thoughts
As a brand, I find 28 Day Skin very appealing. They are incredibly transparent, both in their use of ingredients and product descriptions and in their development and sustainability goals. As a consumer, you know what you are buying and can feel comfortable knowing that you can patch test serums first.
The brand offers serums to target specific concerns and all products are cruelty-free, fragrance free and vegan and serums are available in refill options.
