About a month ago I was kindly sent the Wake Skincare Eye Gel and I want to share it with you today. I think that it is not only a great skincare product but that they themselves are an exciting skincare brand! Let’s dive in…
Wake Skincare Eye Gel & Women’s Aid
First off, one of the things that really impressed me with the brand is its partnership with Women’s Aid. A donation is made to a Woman’s Aid for every purchase made; helping vulnerable people in society.
In fact, Wake Skincare state that they “donate 5% of our net profits to Women’s Aid and partake in charity events in each quarter.” Wake Skincare
What Is It?
The eye gel is a hydrating eye care product. It promises to target puffy eyes and dark circles, improve elasticity and hydration and improve the appearance of fine lines.
Key ingredients that I’m fond of: aloe Vera, cucumber, rose extract, black elderberry: these have soothing, hydrating and antioxidant benefits.
Texture
The texture is a lovely, lightweight gel which sinks into the skin effortlessly. It is plumping, helping to rehydrate the delicate eye area and plump my fine lines. The gel is cooling and soothing to apply and definitely seems to help reduce my morning puffiness.

I find that my under eye area prepped well for makeup application and that the eye gel isn’t heavy so doesn’t lead to creasing of my concealer throughout the day-yet still offers the hydration my (very tired) under eyes need.
Packaging
The packaging is a ceramic bottle so is great for the environment. It is fitted with a pump which ensures the product is kept as fresh as possible.

Everyone we spoke to wanted natural, they wanted less plastic and they wanted to buy independent -Wake Skincare

Final Thoughts
I’ve really been enjoying using the Wake Skincare Eye Gel. It is pleasantly refreshing to the eye area whilst also giving a nice hit of hydration. It manages to do this without being thick or heavy. This means that the under-eye area isn’t too overloaded and helps ensure that makeup doesn’t move around. I’m looking forward to seeing any further benefits with continued use! I love the ethos behind the brand, the desire to create products that work and packaging that is environmentally conscious; while also giving back to the community via charity donations. I feel like they are a brand to watch!
