Matis Joséphine Gift Set & The Collection
The collection comprises three kits: Joséphine (Joséphine Baker, the American-born French singer, dancer and actress that was the first black woman to start in a major motion picture), Ines (Inès de la Fressange the French model, fashion designer and perfumer) and Emma (Emma Watson the English actress and activist).
Each set has been curated to meet the needs of consumers of all ages, whatever their skin type or personality and features a beautiful gift bag (more on this shortly).

The Matis Joséphine Gift Set comprises two full-sized products. Technically, you are buying the set at the value of the Time Balance cream and getting the Densifiance Mask and bag free!
Time- Balance: a luxurious cream that envelops skin effectively hydrating and targeting signs of stress. Its formula contains omega 3 and aims to increase collagen density, while cocoa bean extract, rich in antioxidants helps to reduce free radical damage.

Densifiance-Mask: a mask that aims to firm skin and leave a luminous complexion.
Using a plant-based technology DensiDerm, to firm skin and citrus enzymes to reveal a radiant glow with each pamper session. It has a velvety texture with encapsulated beads that burst onto the skin when applied.

The Bag
I absolutely love the bag that comes with the Matis Joséphine Set! It has a vintage feel in its broderie anglaise style. Perfect for this time of year!
My Thoughts
I’m a big fan of this classic and well-established salon brand. I’ve featured them many times here on my blog and over on my socials too. I really like that this collection celebrates women, and if I recall correctly, their Spring/Summer 22 collection did too! We love a brand supporting women!
The Matis Joséphine Gift Set is of course on the pricey side and I can totally appreciate that it will not suit all budgets. This is a great option if you are already a fan of the Matis Time Balance cream as you’d be topping up and getting the mask for free at the same time! It’s also a great option if you want to treat yourself to a new moisturiser and gain the benefit of a beautiful makeup bag and mask to boot.
The products in this set themselves, I believe, are best suited to those looking to give skin an extra boost, Matis actually states that the cream is great to help balance hormonal stress in the skin, therefore beneficial for menopausal women. Both textures are quite luxurious and moisturising giving a pamper – vibe to your skincare routine.
